Herb garden
The whole of our herb cultivation follows according to the principles of organic agriculture and is alert to the rhythms of nature.
Herbs are planted, harvested and processed according to the moon calendar by Maria Thun.
It is thanks to this approach as well as our care and appreciation of plants that we manage to achieve significantly higher quality herbs and herbal products. Furthermore, there is an increased percentage of agent constituents. Even the preservation can be significantly prolonged. The final product contains more of the plant’s core energy.
Plant extracts and polyculture play a major role in organic agriculture. These methods help to keep plant diseases and pests in check. Garlic, absinth, stinging nettle, comfrey, tansy and other plants play a vital importance in pest management. |

| The rhythm of each plant determines its harvesting time. This consideration takes into account that plants have an ascending and descending phase. Morning until noon is its ascending, afternoon until evening its descending phase. Depending on its phase the plant’s agents are majorly found in its leaves, blooms or roots. According to this natural cycle blooms are harvested at noon, leaves in the morning and roots early in the morning or in the evening (in spring or autumn). |
